A Camera in Every Pocket
How do you feel the popularity of cell phones embedded with high-quality cameras has changed the nature of photography?
The popularity of cell phones has taken over the world. Photography with actual digital/high-quality cameras has really died out. The photographs on the cell phones aren't as HD as real cameras. There have been so many photographs taken, nut photography is dying. "counting on the camera to record the event and thus not needing to attend to it fully themselves – it can have a negative impact on how well they remember their experiences." I just feel like more people need to go out and take more professional HD photographs. Nowadays people just use their phone cameras and the photographs don't come out as good.
Art Generators
When using this website, I learned that you could change the colors of the sand. I primarily made pyramids. This website was actually pretty boring because you were really only doing one thing and that was making pyramids.
When using this website, I learned how to change the size of the brush and also how to change the sharpness and smoother. I actually really liked this website because you could restart the project and then make different objects and I thought that was really cool.
This abstract website was so fun to use! This was my favorite one of all because it was more relaxing and it really opens up your mind to different colors and objects. I loved this one because it felt like I was freeing my mind of all stress. I could change the symmetry and mirror.

Alternative Assignment
"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the work force. Period."
I feel that some tax dollars should be spent on art, music or theater classes in high school because there is a bunch of people that have an amazing talent and they use these classes as an outlet to express their emotions. However, schools nowadays, spend their money on everything other than new books, they only teach for a standardized tests when we should be learning how to buy a house, do your own insurance, learn how to get applications for jobs etc. I feel like more tax money should be spent on education more or less on fine arts classes.

6. He tries to get a honest photo or someone or something and have it turn into a beautiful photograph. He tries to connect with his clients so it's not just a job to him.

Concept Shooting
Message: Everlasting Love
Emotional Connector: Walking into new adventures and the future.
Dynamic Artistry: The sun is the main focal point in the background, but the attention in this photo given equally is the holding of hands showing "come with me so we can go on a new adventure."
Story Telling Quality: This image shows love.. it is not a "new" relationship, it seems wise and the two people are fully in love with each other. It is showing adventurous and happy feelings. The experience is watching the sunset and enjoying the view. It shows everlasting love.

Reflecting on last semester
In the first quarter my work was always done and everything was posted.... the second quarter on the other hand started to slip a little bit.. I wasn't finishing my work or posting what was done. I procrastinated a lot.
The quality of my work was somewhat decent in my opinion.. I did a lot of what I'd normally never do. It was quite interesting to do things I've never done before, I learned a lot of new ways to do things and think about things in a different perspective. When I did my projects, I never had 24 photos exactly for my index prints.. I honestly didn't feel like doing it, that showed laziness, and I'm really not proud of that.
I wasn't taking photos all the time. The effort I put into the projects where we had to go out and shoot, I planned a lot to make sure I got a great image that fit what Mr. Klein wanted. If the shot was hard to get I either tried again or used another idea. I honestly love looking at other people's work, I don't really like looking at mine because I don't have a great outlook on myself so I'm self-conscious about what I do.. I love looking at other people's work because it allows me to think about what they were trying to capture and it gives me an opportunity to either get inspiration, or get into people's minds and see how their personality is like.. "A picture speaks 1,000 words."
I was on time to class everyday. I can't lie, I goofed off a little bit but I got my work done eventually. Some days, I didn't talk to anyone just to catch up on some work so I worked independently for many class periods. There were times where I just didn't do anything the whole class period.. I wasn't motivated enough.
I honestly think that I could improve on a lot. I could work more on the projects and get them done the right way. I could definitely use Photoshop more often and do more work there.. I'm usually not that great with editing pictures and videos.... so I could really improve there. I for sure need a little more confidence in myself and in my work. I could use more compelling, interesting photos instead of bland, boring pictures. This semester, I hope I do a little better so I can get better grades.
